Grand Craft Beer started as Brian Yaeger Presents in 2015 and cultivates beer-centric festivals across Oregon.

Our events celebrate the degree to which craft beer is a large part of Oregon’s identity (after the breathtaking natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation) while also nodding to how much Oregonians embrace craft-everything from fermented beverages to non-alcoholic offerings.

Beyond imbibing, our events are designed for anyone and everyone in the community (well, sometimes only those who are 21+) especially in an era where it’s important to remember and reclaim how fun it is to venture out with old friends and make new ones.

Brian Yaeger

Brian Yaeger is a beer fest creator (first one in 2015), author (including “Oregon Breweries”), and host of the Grand Craft Beer Podcast. As a Certified Cicerone, he has taught beer tasting classes and multiple colleges and beyond. He has visited some 1,200 breweries around the world (with his wife and son who’ve merely been to around 450.) You will catch him floating the Deschutes all summer long with a beer in one hand and a doughnut in the other or paddling with his dog, Holland on board and is learning to play the sousaphone.

Brianna Metzler

Brianna Metzler is an event operations and marketing wiz, and has spent the last two + decades in the brewery and restaurant industry. She is currently working on her Cicerone, has a beer blog (@orbeerbabe) where she is checking out 25 new breweries for 2025, and as a firm supporter of all things craft beer, volunteers with Central Oregon Beer Angels and Best of Craft Beer Awards. She’s an OSU-Cascades grad, an avid paddler and snowshoer (with her old dog, Ruger), she loves taking care of her houseplants and yard flowers, and traveling to drink beer! She’s a crafter too, teaching classes at local breweries, and LOVES cool earrings.
